i think that people - myself included - have their minds deadset on a something that will make them happy. and in being so set on this one thing, they fail to notice how beautiful the world actually is.
for instance, today i was walking downtown and noticed a guy on a bike with a beard in a phonebooth. he was putting up a poster. I was curious as to what he was advertising, so I glimpsed over, and it read "LOVE". a few steps down, i saw a poster with the same "LOVE" on it, however in full view, it read "FREE LOVE, TAKE AS MUCH AS YOU NEED". and i instantly thought of how cute and adorable and kind it was to put up these posters and make strangers happy. and then i thought how many people walk by with these unnoticed, or if i would have even notice them if i didn't notice the ridiculously attractive boy in the phonebooth first.
its just boggling, how something so small just made me so happy. i wonder how many of these moments i've missed, or anyone has missed. i guess i should be more aware of whats around me, and pay more attention to the smaller things in life.

i dont know, just a thought.
